1 Timothy 1:8-11 ISV

8 Of course, we know that the Law is good if a person uses it legitimately, 9 that is, if he understands that the Law is not intended for righteous[a] people but for lawbreakers and rebels, for ungodly people and sinners, for those who are unholy and irreverent, for those who kill their fathers, their mothers, or other people, 10 for those involved in sexual immorality, for homosexuals, for kidnappers,[b] for liars, for false witnesses, and for …

Isaiah 11International Standard Version

The Reign of the Davidic King

1 “A shoot will come out
from the stump of Jesse,
and a branch will bear fruit
from his roots.
2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and power,
the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord.
3 His delight will be in the fear of the Lord.

Deuteronomy 5:4-5  &.  Exodus 24:9-11

G-d is separate apart from messiah

1 Timothy 2International Standard Version

Prayer and Submission to Authority

2 First of all, then, I urge you to offer to God[a]petitions, prayers, intercessions, and expressions of thanks for all people, 2 for kings, and for everyone who has authority, so that we might lead a quiet and peaceful life with all godliness and dignity.[b] 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to know the truth fully. 5 There is one God. There is also one mediator between God and human beings—a human, the Messiah[c] Jesus.

                                       What to know about G-d!

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man that He should lie, nor a mortal that He should change His mind.”

1 Samuel 15:29 (NCV)  29 The LORD is the Eternal One of Israel. He does not lie or change his mind. He is not a human being, so he does not change his mind.”

Psalm 146:3 “Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation!”

Deuteronomy 32:39 (WEB) 39 “See now that I myself am he. There is no god with me. I kill and I make alive. I wound and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.

Deuteronomy 4:12International Standard Version

12 the Lord your God spoke from the midst of the fire. You heard the sound of words, but you saw no form; there was only a voice.

1 Timothy 5:19-21International Standard Version

19 Do not accept an accusation against an elder unless it is supported “by two or three witnesses.”[a] 20 As for those who keep on sinning, rebuke them in front of everyone so that the rest will also be afraid. 21 With God as my witness, as well as the Messiah[b] Jesus and the chosen angels, I solemnly call on you to carry out these instructions without prejudice, doing nothing on the basis of partiality.

1 Timothy 6:15-16International Standard Version

15 At the right time, he will make him known.  God[a] is the blessed and only Ruler,
the King of kings  and Lord of lords.  16 He alone has endless life and lives in inaccessible light.
No one has ever seen him, nor can anyone see him.  Honor and eternal power belong to him!
Amen.

1 Timothy 6:17-19International Standard Version

Advice for the Wealthy

17 Tell those who are rich in this age not to be arrogant and not to place their confidence in anything as uncertain as riches. Instead, let them place their confidence[a] in God, who lavishly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 They are to do good, to be rich in good actions, to be generous, and to share. 19 By doing this they store up a treasure for themselves that is a good foundation for the future, so that they can keep their hold on the life that is real.

Matthew 19:16-17International Standard Version

A Rich Man Comes to Jesus16 Just then a man came up to Jesus.[a]“Teacher,”[b] he asked, “what good deed should I do to have eternal life?”
17 Jesus[c] asked him, “Why ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good.[d] If you want to get into that life, you must keep the commandments.”

Greetings

1 From:[a] Paul, a servant of God, and also an apostle of Jesus the Messiah,[b] to bring the faith to those chosen by God, along with full knowledge of the truth that leads to[c] godliness, 2 which is based on the hope of eternal life that God, who cannot lie, promised before the world[d]began. 3 At the right time he revealed his message through the proclamation that was entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior.

4 To: Titus, a genuine child in the faith that we share.

May grace and peace[e] from God the Father and the Messiah,[f] Jesus our Savior, be yours!

Habakkuk 3:13 New International Version 13 You came out to deliver your people,     to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness,     you stripped him from head to foot.

Psalm 20:6 International Standard Version 6 Now I know that the Lord has delivered his anointed;     he has answered him from his sanctuary         with the strength of his right hand of deliverance.

Hebrews 2:17New International Version

17 For this reason he had to be made like them,[a]fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

human so can’t be G-d & high priest so can’t be Messiah King

Sin Offerings

Leviticus 4:13-21 & Leviticus 6:24-30. High priest Aaron’s descendants so not Messiah & mortal so

Leviticus 4:32-35International Standard Version

32 “If he brings a lamb for his offering, he is to bring a female without defect. 33 He is to lay his hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it for a sin offering at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered. 34 Then the priest is to take blood with his finger and put it on the horn of the altar for burnt offering. Then he is to pour the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. 35 Then the presenter is to remove all its fat, just as the fat was removed from the sacrifice of the peace offering. The priest is to burn it on the altar over the offerings made by fire to the Lord. This is how the priest will make atonement for him concerning the sin that he had committed. It will be forgiven him

Hebrews 5:4-10 International Standard Version 4 No one takes this honor upon himself but he is called to it by God, just as Aaron was.  The Messiah’s Qualifications as High Priest  5 In the same way, the Messiah[a] did not take upon himself the glory of being a high priest. No, it was God who said[b] to him,  “You are my Son.     Today I have become your Father.”[c] 6 As he also says in another place,  “You are a priest forever     according to the order of Melchizedek.”[d] 7 As a mortal man,[e] he offered up prayers and appeals with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his devotion to God. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience through his sufferings 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him, 10 having been designated by God to be a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

Aaron the High Priest (Aharon Hakohen) was the first high priest of the Israelites, as recorded in the Hebrew Bible. He was born in Egypt and served in the Tabernacle throughout most of the 40 years that the Jews traveled through the desert. Aaron was the brother of Moses and Miriam, and the progenitor of all future priests (kohanim). He was remembered as a peace-maker, beloved by all.  Birth and Early Life  Aaron was the second child born to Amram and Yocheved more than 83 years before the Exodus. As members of the tribe of Levi, his family was exempt from the slavery that the rest of the Israelites were subject to (read: Why Didn’t Pharaoh Enslave the Tribe of Levi?).

1 Chronicles 2:1-2 International Standard Version Genealogies of Israel and Judah  2 Here’s a list of Israel’s sons: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, 2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

1 Chronicles 28:4 New International Version 4 “Yet the Lord, the God of Israel, chose me from my whole family to be king over Israel forever. He chose Judah as leader, and from the tribe of Judah he chose my family, and from my father’s sons he was pleased to make me king over all Israel.

Psalm 2:6-9 International Standard Version 6 “I have set my king on Zion,     my holy mountain.” 7 Let me announce the decree of the Lord     that he told me: “You are my son,     today I have become your father. 8 Ask of me, and I will give you     the nations as your inheritance,         the ends of the earth as your possession. 9 You will break them with an iron rod,     you will shatter them like pottery.”

Psalm 89:20-29 New International Version 20 I have found David my servant;     with my sacred oil I have anointed him. 21 My hand will sustain him;     surely my arm will strengthen him. 22 The enemy will not get the better of him;     the wicked will not oppress him. 23 I will crush his foes before him     and strike down his adversaries. 24 My faithful love will be with him,     and through my name his horn[a] will be exalted. 25 I will set his hand over the sea,     his right hand over the rivers. 26 He will call out to me, ‘You are my Father,     my God, the Rock my Savior.’ 27 And I will appoint him to be my firstborn,     the most exalted of the kings of the earth. 28 I will maintain my love to him forever,     and my covenant with him will never fail. 29 I will establish his line forever,     his throne as long as the heavens endure.

Exodus 4:22 International Standard Version 22 You are to say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: “Israel is my firstborn son.

2 Samuel 7:12-17 International Standard Version 12 When your life[a] is complete and you go to join[b] your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring[c] after you, who will come forth from your body,[d] and I will fortify his kingdom. 13 He will build a Temple dedicated to my Name, and I will make the throne of his kingdom last forever. 14 I will be a father to him, and he will be to me a son who, when he commits iniquity, I will discipline with the rod wielded by armies[e] and with wounds inflicted by human beings.[f] 15 But I’ll never remove my gracious love from him as I did from Saul, whom I removed from your presence. 16 Your dynasty and your kingdom will remain forever in my presence—your throne will be secure forever.”’”  17 Nathan communicated this complete oracle to David with precisely these words.

Deuteronomy 32:3-6 International Standard Version 3 For I’ll proclaim the name of our Lord.     Ascribe greatness to our God! 4 Flawless is the work of the Rock,     because all his ways are just. A faithful God—never unjust—     righteous and upright is he. 5 But those who are not his children     acted corruptly against him;         they are a defective and perverted generation. 6 This is not the way to repay the Lord, is it,     you foolish and witless people? Is he not your father,     who bought you, formed you, and established you?

Jeremiah 31:9 New International Version 9 They will come with weeping;     they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water     on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel’s father,     and Ephraim is my firstborn son.

1 Kings 8:35-36International Standard Version

35 “When heaven remains closed, and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, and they pray in the direction of this place, confessing your name and turning from their sin when you afflict them,[a] 36 then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your servants and of your people Israel. Indeed, teach them the best way to live and send rain on your land that you have given to your people as an inheritance.

1 Kings 8:46-50 ISV. 46 “When they sin against you—because there isn’t a single human being who doesn’t sin—and you become angry with them and deliver them over to their enemy, who takes them away captive to the land that belongs to their enemy, whether near or far away, 47 if they turn their hearts back to you[a] in the land where they have been taken captive, repent, and pray to you—even if they do so in the land of their captivity—confessing, ‘We have sinned, we have committed abominations, and practiced wickedness,’ 48 if they return to you with all of their heart and with all of their soul in the land of their enemies who have taken them captive, as they pray to you in the direction of their land that you have given to their ancestors and to the city that you have chosen, and to the Temple that I have built for your name, 49 then hear their prayer and requests in heaven, where you reside, and fight for their cause, 50 forgiving your people who have sinned against you, along with their transgressions by which they have transgressed against you.  “Show your compassion in the presence of those who have taken them captive, so they may show compassion on them,

Ezekiel 18:23, 27-28, 30-32

Ezekiel 18:27-28 International Standard Version 27 When a wicked person quits[a] his wicked behavior[b] and does what’s just and right, he’ll be enabled to live.[c] 28 Because he reconsidered his transgression and turned away from everything that he had been doing, he’ll certainly live and not die.

Ezekiel 33:11 International Standard Version 11 “Tell them, ‘As certainly as I’m alive and living,’ declares the Lord God, ‘I receive no pleasure in the death of the wicked. Instead, my pleasure is that the wicked repent from their behavior[a] and live. Turn back! Turn back, all of you, from your wicked behavior! Why do you have to die, you house of Israel?’”

Ezekiel 33:19 International Standard Version 19 and when the wicked turn away from their wickedness and do what is just and right, he will certainly live because of that.

Isaiah 1:13 International Standard Version 13 Stop bringing useless offerings!     Incense is detestable to me, as are your New Moons, Sabbaths, and calling of convocations.     I cannot stand iniquity within[a] a solemn assembly.

Proverbs 21:3 International Standard Version 3 To do what is right and just     is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Proverbs 15:8-9 International Standard Version 8 The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the Lord,     but the prayer of the upright is his delight. 9 The lifestyle of the wicked is detestable to the Lord,     but he loves those who ardently pursue righteousness.

Psalm 40:6-8 International Standard Version 6 You take no delight in sacrifices and offerings—     you have prepared my ears to listen—[a]         you require no burnt offerings or sacrifices for sin. 7 Then I said, “Here I am! I have come!     In the scroll of the book it is written about me. 8 I delight to do your will, my God.     Your Law is part of my inner being.”
